Project Description

  • Prep Time: 10m
  • Total Time: 45m
  • Serves: 4-6

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh squeezed lime juice
  • 1/4 cup (1 medium lemon) fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup (1 medium orange) fresh orange juice
  • 1 cup tequila
  • 1/2 cup triple sec or cointreau
  • 1 cup water

For serving

  • Salt, for rimming the glasses (optional)
  • Lime wedges (optional)

Preparation Instructions

1. In a medium bowl, whisk all of the ingredients until combined. Taste and add more lime juice if you like it a bit more tart.

2. Pour the mixture into the GreenPan Frost mixing bowl and cover with the mixing bowl cover.

3. Select the Spiked Slushie mode, L4. Churn until it turns to Cool and beeps.

4. Pour salt into a small dish; rub the rim of the glasses with a lime wedge and dip in the salt.

5. Serve in the salted glasses (if desired) and garnish with a lime wedge.

Tips

This margarita can be adjusted to your taste by using any combination of fresh citrus: limes are required though!

The fresh orange juice is used instead of a sweetener, so if you want to omit it make sure to add 1 – 2 tablespoons light agave instead.
